Using the Virtual Backgrounds App in Zoom
As long as you have Zoom installed, you will be able to select from over 2 million high-resolution images that are available for the Virtual Backgrounds app. From the world’s best photographers, Unsplash has curated a set of beautiful images for you to choose from.
There are several popular categories when it comes to virtual background images, such as art and nature. With the help of these categories, you will have a wide selection from which to choose. A new batch of images is added every day, and the relevance of the images is constantly being determined.

How to install from the Zoom App Marketplace
As part of Zoom’s desktop client, you will be able to access the Virtual Backgrounds app which is contained in the Zoom Apps list.
In order to manually install the app, follow these steps:

You can access the Zoom Marketplace by logging in to your Zoom account,

You can find virtual backgrounds by searching on Google.

Then click the Add button.

Click Authorize once you have reviewed the permissions that have been requested.
It is displayed in the Zoom desktop client under the Apps section once the app has been installed.
How to use the Virtual Backgrounds App
Zoom desktop client users now have the option to add a virtual background to their desktop client by using this app.
It is possible to find specific images using the search bar at the top of the page. In order to find the best images that will match the search result, the search engine searches the Unsplash library.
It is possible to change the background of the app so that it is blurred or you can completely remove it.
How to uninstall from the App Marketplace

Go to the web portal of the App Marketplace and log in.

When you click Manage, you will be able to see the Added Apps section.

The Virtual Backgrounds app can be removed by clicking on the Remove button.

In order to be open during Zoom meetings, the application uses the zoomapp:inmeeting scope, in addition to letting users set up their virtual background during Zoom meetings. A virtual background can be set by using the setVirtualBackground method.

The removeVirtualBackground command removes the virtual background of the current user from the application.

In the openUrl method, a user is able to open a URL within the browser on their device when they are logged in.
Troubleshooting
Error 10012
The smart virtual background package must be installed on your computer before you can use it. For Zoom desktop clients to display a virtual background, the package needs to be installed.

Zoom’s desktop client can be accessed by signing in with your Zoom account.

Using the profile picture as a starting point, click Settings, then click Edit Profile.

Choose a background and filter from the drop-down menu

The virtual background can be selected by clicking on the desired item.

In order to upload a video or an image, you may add your own image.

It is recommended to click the Download button if you are prompted to download the package for the virtual background without a green screen.
