Using ZDM with iPads in zoom app
In order to set their iPads to Autonomous Single App Mode (ASAM), system administrators need to use Zoom’s mobile device management tool (ZDM). In the event that ASAM is enabled in the Zoom Rooms app, you will not be able to exit it unless you are experiencing a network failure, otherwise you will not be able to exit the app until you log into the room. In order to be able to exit the ASAM app, you will need to sign out of the room where your profile exists, which allows you to exit the room. The application (Zoom Rooms) as well as the iPad’s OS can also be upgraded, the iPad can be renamed, and the iPad can be associated with a Zoom Room. The device will automatically be logged in when it is assigned and the Zoom Room is powered on, as soon as it has been assigned and the Zoom Room is turned on. In addition to the activation code, all that is required for sign-in is a valid email address and pairing codes with ZDM.
Prerequisites for using iPads with ZDM
