Using Zoom’s Confluence Chatbot
The Atlassian Confluence Integration for Zoom allows you to receive chat messages to notify you whenever a new page, blog, or comment is created or added from the Confluence account that is connected to Zoom. You can use the Slash command to access Confluence Chatbot support, connect, or configure the Chatbot to your specific requirements by using Slash commands.
Prerequisites using the Confluence Chatbot

The account of an Atlassian Confluence administrator

In the Zoom Marketplace, the Confluence chatbot has been pre-approved as a product

Note: You will need to contact your Zoom admin if the app has not been pre-approved.
How to install and configure
Note: It is necessary that you install the Atlassian Marketplace directly in order to make sure that you are able to install the Confluence Chatbot. Clicking Visit Site To Install on the Zoom Marketplace will direct you to the steps you need to follow in order to get the Zoom app installed.
Install the integration from Atlassian Marketplace

As an admin, you should log into the Confluence account that you use.

The Confluence Marketplace can be found by clicking here.

Zoom for Confluence can be found by searching for it on Google and clicking the Get it now button.

Select the site you would like to install the app on and click on the Install button.

It will be displayed once the app has been installed that the app has been installed. To get started, click on the Get Started button.

Upon clicking Connect to Zoom, you will be asked to consent to the app’s requests for permission and then allow them. Note:

You will automatically be able to install the Confluence chatbot within the client if your admin has installed the chatbot inside Confluence.
Configuring the Confluence Chatbot Subscription

Once you have logged into the Zoom Desktop Client, you will see a list of available Zoom Chat channels.

To connect Confluence to your company domain, type /confluence connect <yourCompanyDomain>.atlassian.net and send the message.

The first thing you will receive once your Confluence account has been linked to Zoom is a direct message with instructions on how to do it.

In the message response, you will find a link that you need to click on within Confluence to confirm.

Once again, create a Zoom chat channel and type /confluence connect your company domain.atlassian.net.

You can configure Confluence by typing /confluence configure.

You can configure your subscription here. Confluence Chatbot will send updates to your Zoom Chat Channel based on a variety of domains, channels, and spaces that you specify. The criteria include:

A new blog has been created.

The blog has been updated.
-
A new page has been created.

The page has been updated.

A new comment has been added.

This chat channel will now be able to use the Confluence Chatbot.
How to use the Confluence chatbot
In your configured Zoom Chat Channel, you will receive messages regarding your subscription once you have configured it. These commands can also be performed using the Confluence chatbot.
Available commands

Connect: Confluence > Connect > your CompanyDomain> atlassian.net to add the subscription.

Disconnect: If you wish to remove all subscriptions for your current channel, type /confluence disconnect companydomain.atlassian.net.

Configure: You can manage your current channel subscriptions by typing /confluence configure. * Configure all:

How to remove the Confluence Chatbot
From the Atlassian Marketplace, uninstall the Confluence Chatbot

Navigate to Manage Apps in Confluence as an admin.

To add apps, click Manage and then Add Apps.

Zoom can be removed by clicking Remove.

Once you have confirmed the dialog, click the Remove button.
Confluence Chatbot should be removed from Zoom Marketplace

Navigate to the Zoom Marketplace after logging into your Zoom account.

Confluence can be found by searching for it and clicking it via the app store, or you can access it via the app manager, then click Add Apps.

Confluence can be removed by clicking Remove.

Uninstall the program by clicking the Uninstall button.
