Video not working on Lenovo devices in zoom App
Overview
You can troubleshoot your Lenovo laptop’s webcam if it is not working with Zoom.
The following steps explain how to troubleshoot if you receive the following video feed from Zoom:
Windows 7
- Search for Lenovo – Web Conferencing in the Windows Start Menu.
- Launch the camera after it has been opened, and then close the Lenovo – Web Conferencing application.
Windows 8
- Start the Windows start menu.
- Type “lenovo” and click Lenovo Settings. You can download Lenovo Settings from the Microsoft Store if you do not have it already.
- Click on the CAMERA tab.
- Change the Privacy Mode to Off at the bottom of the settings page.
Windows 10
- Open the Windows start menu.
- Type “lenovo” into the search field and click Lenovo Vantage. Install Lenovo Vantage from the Microsoft Store if you don’t already have it.
- Go to Hardware Settings > Audio/Visual.
- Switch off the Camera Privacy Mode toggle.
- Note:
- Check if your Lenovo laptop has a physical switch for enabling or disabling your camera if the Camera Privacy Mode keeps changing to On. Make sure it is turned on.
