A Microsoft Teams team is a group of people who work together on projects, share a common interest, or work on projects together.
Teams are composed of two types of channels – standard channels which are accessible to everyone and which are private channels which are just for conversations with one group of people. A channel is usually created around a particular theme, for example, ‘Team Events’, ‘Department Names’, or for simply fun. There are many different types of channels available. There are channels where meetings can be held, where you can have discussions, and where files can be shared.
