Webex App | Add your profile picture
By uploading a photograph to your profile within the Webex App, you can make it simpler for other users to identify you. Your profile will only display your initials within a circle unless and until you submit a photo.
You have many options for the graphic format that you can use for your photograph, including.jpg,.png,.gif, or.bmp. You could also use the camera on your phone to snap a brief picture of yourself.
The picture must be a square format, and the file size must be less than 10 megabytes for desktop and less than 1 megabyte for mobile. Your image will be resized so that it can be used in Webex App.
If the image does not update for you, the problem may lie with the amount of the file. Alternately, your profile photograph could have been uploaded through the directory of your organization; if this is the case, you will need to speak with an administrator in order to update it.
The local caching that other people’s apps use may be to blame if they are unable to see the updated version of your profile photograph. It may take up to four hours for the update to become visible to other users.
After adding a profile photograph, you may or may not be able to delete it depending on the settings your administrator has chosen. In that case, the only option you have is to replace your profile photograph. Webex App | Remove your profile photograph contains additional information on this topic.
