Webex App | Choose when your call control window pops up
When you get a call, you have the option of choosing whether or not your call control window will automatically open. If you are a part of a Contact Center and use Finesse to answer and manage your calls, for instance, you do not require the Webex App call window to open up when you answer a call because you are already managing your conversations using Finesse. You have the ability to reduce the number of distractions you experience by hiding this call control window.
1. Simply navigate to the Call Window Settings by clicking on your profile image, going to Settings > Calling, and then scrolling down.
2. Determine the time at which you would like the call control window to appear by using the selections that drop down.
Whatever option you pick here will apply to all calls made using the Webex App as well as phone calls.
- When making phone calls using this computer:
- On all calls—When you get a call, you want your call control window to automatically appear every time.
- Auto-minimize calls—When you get a call, the call control window should automatically minimize to the system tray.
- When making calls through the use of a video device or a desk phone:
- On all calls—Whenever you get a call, the call window should automatically appear on your computer’s desktop.
- Auto-minimize calls—When you get a call, the call control window should automatically minimize to the system tray.
