Webex App | Control someone’s camera during a video call

During a video conversation, you may alter the angle that the other person’s camera is facing and even zoom in and out to get a better view of the person you are talking to. If you work in the medical field, for instance, you can concentrate on a patient’s facial expressions as well as any physical symptoms they may be experiencing in order to deliver high-quality care.

Ensure that the individual you are speaking with is linked to a TelePresence device before continuing.

You will only be able to manage a camera remotely if the device at the far end does not have camera tracking enabled. At this point, the camera will follow the person who is speaking.

You do not have access to any of the camera’s presets using the remote.

1.  To display the control panel, select the Far End Camera Control from the menu. You have the ability to pan the camera left or right, tilt the camera up or down, and even zoom in or out.

2.  When you are finished manipulating the camera, select the Far End Camera Control option again. This will cause the control panel to disappear, allowing you to carry on with your call.
