Add rich text formatting to your messages to make them easier to read. If you’d like to manually add formatting in a broader variety of styles, you can use Markdown instead.

Webex App for iOS, Android, or Windows users can see formatted text when you send messages using Webex App for Windows, Mac, or Web.

In contrast, Webex App for iPhone and iPad users don’t see underlined content when you send it in a message.

Windows

The format you want to use can be selected and then selected. The styles of bold, italic, and underline can be applied to headers and lists.

• If you want to insert a link, select the link option, paste a URL into the link address field, and type the link text into the link text field. Click on Add.

You can control the formatting by clicking and checking Markdown enabled. There is a limit to the number of formatting methods you can use in a message. The styles you apply to rich text formats or copied and pasted text from other applications and spaces will be lost when you switch to Markdown.

Copying and pasting text from other applications is also possible. You can then use Webex App to format your original text using rich text styles. Your original text might not be formatted exactly if it contains styles not available in Webex App.
