Webex App | Generate an activation code for your personal cloud device

An activation code will be provided by Cisco in order for you to activate devices that you have added to the Webex App. Activation codes can be generated directly from the Webex App, so you don’t have to go to Device. The activation codes do not have to be kept anywhere and they do not have to be kept secret. It is possible to generate new ones at any time.

Windows
  1. Choose Settings > Devices from the drop down menu under your profile picture.
  2. Click on the Generate an activation code option under My Device.
  3. Click the OK button after copying the activation code from the screen.
  4. When you are prompted to enter the code, please do so.

Mac
  1. You can select Preferences > Devices by clicking on the Profile Picture of your profile.
  2. You will find the option to generate an activation code under My Device.
  3. Click the OK button after copying the activation code from the screen.
  4. When you are prompted to enter the code, please do so.

Mobile
  1. When you tap the profile picture, you will be taken to the Settings tab > Devices page.
  2. Select Generate activation code from the My Device menu.
  3. In the event that your device prompts you to enter the code, do so.
