Webex App | Manage participants in your meeting
You are able to see a list of possibilities by going to your Participants list when you are in the middle of a meeting. You now have a speedy method at your disposal to carry out actions such as chatting with a person, pausing their video, or kicking them out of the meeting.
Desktop
1. In a meeting, go to Participants .
- You can search for the participant in order to discover the individual that you are looking for, or you can expand or collapse the sections labeled “In the meeting” and “Not in the meeting.”
2. Simply hover your mouse pointer over the participant’s name, and then click the More choices option.
3. Choose one of the following available choices.
- It’s possible that not all of these options will appear. Your position in the meeting and the kind of meeting being held both play a part in determining what you observe.
Webex scheduled meeting or Personal Room meeting:
Make presenter—Please read the Make someone the presenter page for further details.
Make host—Please check the Make Someone Else the Meeting Host page for further details.
Make cohost—Please refer to the Add or Remove a Cohost from a Meeting page for further details.
Chat—Visit the page labeled “Send a Message” for further details.

Enhanced meeting associated with a space:
- Within Webex for Government, the upgraded experience is not currently accessible to users.

- Make cohost—For more information, see Add or remove a cohost from a meeting.
- Chat—For more information, see, Send a message.

Classic meeting associated with a space:

Mobile
Proceed to the Participants tab while you are in a meeting.
- You can search for the participant you are looking for or tap the In the meeting and Not in the meeting tabs to expand or collapse the sections, respectively, in order to identify the individual you are looking for.
- Tap a participant’s name.
- Choose one of the available options from the list below.
