Add a profile picture
In order to begin utilizing your account, you should upload a profile picture as soon as you register your account. Your coworkers and business partners will be able to recognize you if you use a recent pic in order to identify you online. Changing your profile picture can be done with the mobile app, but you need to give Webex App permission to access your photos to make sure that you are able to change it. In order to make use of the full functionality of the app, you will need to grant the app access to your mobile device in order to enjoy its full potential.
Customize the colors of your app
Take a look at the new themes for your views-Bronze, Jade, and Lavender, and add a little more color to your views. The new themes can be found in the settings on your device, along with the existing Light and Dark themes you already have.

Set a cover photo for your profile and spaces
Make your profile, your contact card, and the spaces a little more personal by choosing a background image. A predefined set of images is available for you to choose from, however we are already working on adding the capability to upload custom images shortly.
Set your notifications
It is easier to stay informed about what is happening in your spaces when you receive notifications. The app will automatically send you notifications for all the spaces you have selected when you set it up for the first time. There is a way that you can change the notification settings in Webex App if you do not wish to receive notifications every time a space is updated. All your meeting spaces and scheduled meetings can be set to receive notifications, or a specific meeting space can have its notifications modified.
Virtual background in meetings and calls
Is there something you would like to hide in your video during a meeting or call, so that nobody can see what you are doing? Perhaps you only want it to look like you’re on a beach soaking up the sun and that you’ve got something in your hand to do. Using one of our default virtual backgrounds for meetings and video calls, you can blur your background if your device meets the hardware requirements, or you can choose from a variety of other backgrounds. Make your selection by selecting the Change Virtual Background option under the Self-view video, and then clicking on the desired picture.
Change Your Language
It is possible to select the language you desire for Webex App on your device or in your browser after launching the app. Your device’s language settings will also affect how the Webex App handles the language when you change your device’s language settings.

Can I join a Webex meeting without downloading the app?
From your browser, you can join a meeting using the web app. The easiest way to join our conference is to use a Chromebook, a Linux PC, or you don’t want to download anything to your computer if you’re using a Chromebook or Linux computer. You can join a meeting by clicking the Join meeting button in the email invitation. You will be connected to your Webex meeting as soon as Webex starts preparing its connection.
How do I add an app to Webex?
The customer view in https://admin.webex.com is where you can see the list of your devices. To view your device in the list, go to the Devices page and click on it. You will be able to add web apps by selecting the Web Apps option under Configurations. You will need to enter the name of the Web app and its URL. On the home screen, the name of the web app will be displayed under the icon for the web app.
Why is my Webex app not working?
Using a mobile data connection will allow you to connect to Webex if you are having trouble connecting on an iPhone, iPad, or Android. It may be that the WiFi connection is blocking Webex traffic when you are connected to mobile data even though the Webex app works if you are connected to mobile data.
How do I open Webex in app instead of browser?
If you click the downward arrow on the right side of the Start Meeting or Join Meeting button on the Personal Room page of your dashboard, or the Meeting Information page, you’ll be taken to the Personal Room section.
