Webex App | Reduce File Size when Sharing
When you are on the go and using the Webex App, you will most likely connect over your mobile carrier’s cellular connection rather than through Wi-Fi. Consequently, if you try to send a message that contains an image or video that is larger than 5 megabytes (MB), you might not be able to do so because your bandwidth may be limited or because your data roaming may have its limits. When you transmit a video or an image, there is an option to automatically reduce its size; this will cut down on the amount of data that is required to get it posted.
Images or videos that are more than 5 megabytes in size that you want to share can be compressed.
Before you begin
Check to see that your iPhone or iPad is configured to use the file format that is the most universally compatible. To find the most compatible format for your camera, navigate to the Settings menu on your device, then select Camera > Formats. If you require additional information regarding High Efficiency Image File (HEIF) formats, please visit the support website that is provided by Apple.
