Webex App Reshare files from Microsoft OneDrive or SharePoint Online
Any new members added to the Webex App space after the initial share will require re-sharing access to your shared OneDrive or SharePoint Online file. The file will not be accessible until it is reshared with any new members.
- Click Update file share when you hover over the file in the space.
Select Files from the Content menu. List view and Grid view are both available for viewing files. The file will be updated when you hover over it and click the Update file share button.
- If you want people to be able to edit the file, click Allow editing in the pop-up window, and then click Update.
All users in the space have access to the file when you update the permissions.
If you have previously shared a document in a space, you can reshare it within OneDrive or SharePoint Online. People who do not have access to the file are able to view the file name without editing, viewing, or previewing the file in any way when they do not have access to it.
Select the Content option from the dropdown menu and then tap Files in the space that appears.
The following steps should be taken:
-
You can re-sync the file by long pressing the file on an Android device and then tapping Re-sync.
-
It is possible to re-sync the file for iOS by swiping the file, and then tapping Re-sync.
You can give people permission to edit the file in the pop-up window if you want to give them the ability to edit it. Once you have made your selection, tap Update.
The file will be accessible to all people in the space when the permissions are updated, so make sure you update the permissions.
