Webex App Restricted network capabilities
To make sure that you can continue working on restricted networks, like airline Wi-Fi, we are making it easier for you to use the Webex App on these networks.
The capacity of some networks to move large amounts of data may be limited, such as those used by airlines for Wi-Fi communications. The purpose of those networks is to conserve bandwidth by blocking real-time communications. In order to comply with these network policies, the Webex App is able to adjust the services available.
A restricted network allows you to do the following when you are connected to it:
-
Messages can be sent by email
-
Contacts can be added by clicking here
-
Let’s schedule a time to meet
-

Using a restricted network means that you can’t do the following when you’re connected:
-

You can check your voicemail by clicking here
