Webex App | Schedule a meeting using @webex or @meet
Before you begin
It is necessary for your administrator to set up your account with the Hybrid Calendar before you may use this method to plan meetings.
1. Open the calendar app on your work device, and put a meeting on the schedule.
2 In order to establish a draft meeting or an upcoming appointment, you may either add persons to your invite or leave the attendees section blank.
3 In the field labeled “meeting location,” enter one of the following options:

@webex:onetime—Develops a one-time Webex meeting for the user.

@webex, @webex:myroom or @meet:myroom—Establishes a meeting in a Personal Room.

@meet, @webex:space or @meet:space— The subject of the meeting is used as the name of the new space that is automatically created in Webex App when the meeting is created and paired with a space.

If you enter more than one keyword, just the first (most left) one will be utilized in the search. Any more keywords will not be considered.
The behavior that is set as the default for your organization in @webex and @meet can be changed by your administrator. For instance, the keywords can be customized by your administrator so that @webex establishes a meeting associated with a space and a new space, and @meet makes a meeting in a Personal Room. However, regardless of any configuration made by the administrator, adding “myroom” to either keyword will always produce a meeting in the Personal Room, and adding “space” to either keyword will always produce a meeting connected with an existing space as well as a meeting associated with a new space.
4 To make it simpler for users to attend a meeting using a Webex room or desk device, add the device to the room as a resource. This will cause an attend button to display on the device before the meeting begins:
- When using Windows, pick the device after clicking the Scheduling Assistant > Add Rooms menu option.
- On a Mac, choose the device after clicking Scheduling > Add Room or Room Finder > Add Room, respectively, and adding the room.
5 After you have finished configuring any further meeting features, click the Send button.
What to do next
A space will be generated in the Webex App if you create a meeting that is connected to a space but has no attendees. In order to add participants to the calendar appointment, you will also need to add the individuals in question to the Webex App space.
