Webex App Select a Landing Screen
Every time you open the Webex App, you will be able to select which screen you want to appear first. In your default setting, you can set it to show home, messages, calls, contacts, or meetings as your default screen.
Windows
- Choose Settings > General from the drop-down menu under your profile picture.
- You can select a tab to display at the top of the app when it initially opens by selecting it from the drop-down list under Landing Screen.
It is possible that your administrator has configured a default landing screen for your organization that you are unable to select, as they may be the ones responsible for this.
- After clicking Save, the app will need to be restarted.
Mac
- Choose Preferences > General from the menu on the left-hand side after clicking your profile picture.
- If you select Landing Screen, you will have a list of tabs that will appear when you first open the app, and you can choose which tab you want to appear.
The default landing screen that your company uses may have been configured in such a way that you are not able to select an option, so please contact your administrator for help.
- After clicking Save, the app will need to be restarted.
iPhone and iPad
- In the Settings menu, tap the General option, then tap the profile picture.
- Choose Landing Screen, then choose the screen you wish to appear on the first time an app is opened by tapping on it.
It is possible that your administrator has configured a default landing screen for your organization that you are unable to select, as they may be the one responsible for this.
