Where is Webex Assistant for Meetings available?
There is a Webex Assistant that can be used in both Webex Meetings as well as Webex Webinars (but not in webcast view when viewing webinars). In the latest update for Webex App, you will also be able to access Webex Assistant through the app. It is not possible to use Webex Assistant from a space when starting or joining a meeting.

This feature is enabled by default in Webex Assistant for Meetings. The hosts of these meetings and webinars have the option to decide whether they wish Webex Assistant to be enabled or disabled during the meeting or webinar.
There is an option for Webex administrators who may not have access to a full set of Meetings and Webinars plans on their site, in which case they may assign licenses to specific users within the organization or to an entire Webex site, so that Webex Assistant can be enabled as part of Meetings. There is no limit to how much Webex Assistant can be enabled or disabled by Webex administrators. With regards to Webex Assistant for Meetings, this is by default enabled, so you don’t need to do anything to enable it. In a meeting or webinar, the host has the option of enabling or disabling Webex Assistant during the event.
There is a global availability of Webex Assistant. For Webex for Government, the Webex Assistant is not available.
In the Webex App, Linux supports the Webex Assistant.
It is currently the only language that is accurately transcribed by Webex Assistant.

What is Webex assistant for Webex meetings?
There is an intelligent, interactive virtual assistant called Webex Assistant for meetings and webinars that has been designed to make the process of searching and interacting with meetings and webinars easier, more actionable, and more productive. In order to make sure that actions are followed up on after a meeting or webinar, Webex Assistant can highlight key moments, take note of important decisions, and follow up on action items.
How do I enable Webex assistant in Webex meetings?
Click on Configure Site once you have selected your site. Select the Site Options option under the Common Settings section. To make Webex Assistant available in meetings and webinars on your site, you need to open the Webex Assistant Configuration and click Enable Webex Assistant for that section to be checked.
Is Webex assistant available in Webex events?

A cohost role can be assigned to one or more attendees during a meeting or webinar, including people who are guests of the meeting. You will find a list of attendees who you can make cohosts of on the left side of the screen as soon as you click on the Participant tab on the left side of the screen. Choose Edit > Change Role > Create Cohost from the menu that appears when you right-click on the attendee’s name.
