Microsoft Teams Webex Calling can be configured if you have admin rights.

If you are using Webex Calling for the first time (or anytime you access Microsoft Teams), you need to grant permission to search contacts and interact with them. Verify your login credentials by entering your username and password.
To start using Webex Calling, you must be logged into Microsoft Teams and Webex Calling.

Listen to Voicemails – Now supported for Webex Calling
Whenever users first log in to Microsoft Teams and Webex Call, they will be prompted to log in to both Microsoft Teams and Webex Call at the same time when they first start using the integration after logging into Microsoft Teams.
Have you received a voicemail? In order to view, listen to, or delete the voicemails you have received in the past 7 days, you can now access the Webex Calling Voicemails page.

Configure to hide the Webex App window for Microsoft Teams users
When users interact with the Webex Call Integration with Microsoft Teams by interacting with the Webex App window in the Microsoft Teams control hub, the administrator has the option to hide the Webex App window.

View Recent calls––Now supported for Webex Calling and BroadWorks
Have you missed a call and are wondering who it was? It is possible to view up to 20 previous calls you have made, received, and missed in the past seven days by viewing your Recent Calls page. Alternatively, you can give them a call back from the same phone number where they originally called you.
UCM calling is not supported in this release of the software.
A BroadWorks administrator needs to enable unified call history in order to make sure that this feature is functioning correctly. See the Webex how to configure Webex for Cisco BroadWorks can be found in the Cisco BroadWorks Configuration Guide.

Direct calls with channel members
If you want to call another member of your channel without having to switch to a direct chat first, simply click Webex Calling in your message window.
Administrators––When you click the appropriate link for Webex Calling and click the link to enable Reading the members of channels for your organization, you will be able to access your own permissions.
Desktop
In Microsoft Teams for Windows, Mac, or the web browser, you can start Webex calls using the dial pad, or you can start Webex calls from a chat or channel conversation. Using Outlook and directory synchronization, you can add contacts to a speed dial group and you can call them from there.
Before you begin:
Install Webex Calling for Microsoft Teams on your administrator’s or team space owner’s computer by following these steps.
If you are using a Mac or Windows computer, you will have to install the Webex App.
It is highly recommended that you contact your team administrator for assistance in configuring Webex Calling for Microsoft Teams if you receive a prompt to install Webex Calling.
Make a call on the dialpad
Click the Webex Calling option in the left-hand menu of the team space.
If you want to contact someone, you need to type their name, telephone number, or video address at the top of the page.
The synchronized Outlook contacts in your personal directory will be searched when you type a name.
If you wish to contact the contact, you need to select the contact and click on the “connect” button.
Turn a chat into a call
The Webex Calling button can be found below the message window in direct chat.
To view the variety of calling options available under the contact, simply select the phone number under the contact.
To connect, click on the or button.
In the next window, you will be able to access the app.
Call a channel member
To call another member in a channel, use Webex Calling so that you do not need to create a direct space before you begin the call.
Before you begin
Administrators––If you want access to permissions, click the Webex Calling tab and enable the Read channel members option.
The message window in a channel can be accessed by clicking Webex Calling in the menu bar.
Enter the member’s name in the Search or Select field, then click on the name of the member to select them.
In order to change the options for making outbound calls, you can click the drop-down menu under their name.
To connect, click on the or button.
Add a speed dial
In Outlook or Azure Active Directory, you can add up to 20 contacts as speed dials. You can do this both inside and outside your Outlook account. Using this app, you are able to save your favorite speed dials to your Microsoft 365 profile allowing you to quickly and easily access your most frequently used contacts.
The main menu will now show you Webex Calling.
Click on the Add a speed dial button.
If you are adding a custom contact, please type the name of the contact in the directory.
Select the contact from the drop-down box that appears and choose the number from the drop-down list if this is an Outlook or Azure Active Directory contact.
Add a custom contact—When you click on Create a new speed dial, you will be asked to enter a name and a phone number.
A maximum of 100 characters can be entered in the Name field, and a maximum of 50 characters can be entered in the Phone field.
Please click the Add button.
Manage speed dials
The main menu will now show you Webex Calling.
Edit a custom contact—You can edit the speed dial settings for a contact by clicking the ellipses button on their card.
Re-arrange your speed dials—In order to change the order in which your speed dials appear on the screen, you can click and drag them around with your mouse.
Remove a speed dial contact—Select Ellipses > Remove from speed dial on the contact card of the contact you wish to remove.
View recent calls
Would you like to find out who called you and whom you missed? The Recent calls section in your account allows you to view up to 20 consecutive calls you made, received, or missed within the past seven days. Even if they have called you from the same number, you can call them back at that number as well.
For unknown numbers, you will not see the name of the contact, the number, or the type of call.
The BroadWorks administrator must ensure that the unified call history feature is enabled for this feature to work properly. In order to learn more about the configuration of Webex for Cisco BroadWorks, please refer to the guide.
For this feature, UCM calling is not currently supported.
On the side menu, click Webex Calling to find out how to initiate a call.
You can click or to connect with a call by hovering over it in your Recent calls list.
In order to update the call details at the bottom of the dialogue box, click on the Refresh button.
Listen to voicemails
Microsoft Teams is an integration that allows users to view any voicemail available from Webex Calling within the Microsoft Teams App by clicking on a voicemail listing. You will be able to tell if there are any voicemails that have not yet been read by a blue badge.
In order to listen to the voicemail, you will need to click on the play button on the screen. Using the audio/video buttons on the right side of the voicemail window, you are able to call back the contact.
Microsoft Teams now provides you with some new features such as playing or deleting Webex Voicemails from the last 7 days, as well as viewing up to 20 voicemails from the previous 7 days within the application.
Voicemails will have the following information available in the list of voicemails:
Contact name
Phone number
Date and Time
Voicemail duration
Unread voicemails are indicated by a blue badge
Voicemail must be enabled for Webex Calling users by the Webex Calling administrator. For more information about configuring and managing voice mail settings for a Webex Calling user, see their respective guides.
From the side menu, select Webex Calling from the drop-down menu.
You can select the voicemail you want to listen to from the Voicemail listing view by clicking on it.
The message can be heard by clicking the Play button at the bottom of the page.
By selecting the or to connect option, you will be able to reply quickly to the voicemails.
Note: The recent voicemails can be updated within the dialogue box by clicking Refresh at the bottom of the dialog box.
Android and iPhone
In a chat space, you can use Webex Call to make a call. As soon as the contact is assigned a phone number, the system automatically makes a call to that number. The assigned email address can also be used in the event that there is no phone number to dial.
Before you begin:
Install Webex Calling for Microsoft Teams by making sure your administrator or owner of the team space has done it.
It is highly recommended that you contact your team administrator for assistance in configuring Webex Calling for Microsoft Teams if you receive a prompt to install Webex Calling.
To start a new chat, tap the New chat button at the top of the screen.
By typing in the name of the person you wish to call, you will be able to find them quickly.
The Webex Call option can be selected by tapping the ellipses and then selecting Webex Call.
To open the options for making a call, tap the number.
Then tap Call in order to make a call to the selected number.
iPad
Use Webex Call to make a call within a conversation space using Webex Call. As soon as the system detects that the number has been assigned to a contact, it automatically dials that number. In the case of an absence of a telephone number, the assigned email address will be used in place of the phone number.

The administrator or the team space owner should make sure that Microsoft Teams Webex Calling has been installed on the team space.
It is highly recommended that you contact your team administrator for assistance in configuring Webex Calling for Microsoft Teams if you receive a prompt to install Webex Calling.
To start a new chat, tap the New chat button at the top of the screen.
If you would like to call someone, first search for their name on the phone, then tap on it.
