Webex Calling Singapore Data Center

We offer a wide range of edge services such as media services, interconnections with companies such as the Cloud-Connected PSTN Partners (CCPP), in addition to edge services to customers in Southeast Asian countries through our Singapore Data Center. There is a Singapore data center that is the nearest point of entry to the Webex network for clients across the region, which minimizes latency and improves the quality of multimedia content.

Specifications

• Having a Singapore datacenter will allow us to provide our customers with optimal media quality regardless of whether they are located in one of the Southeast Asian countries or in another.

• A hosting service is not provided for customers who use Webex Calling. Customers who are hosted in the Singapore Media POP can still benefit from the premium media quality provided by the Singapore Media POP even when they are hosted in any other Webex Calling data center.

• If you have a location in Southeast Asian countries and you want to establish a connection to Webex through the Singapore Media POP, you will be automatically connected to the Singapore Media POP.

  There are a number of customers who will benefit from POP services that are interconnected to the Singapore Media POP if they provide PSTN services from CCPP.

• The Singapore Media POP provides redundant media services that are provided by other media providers. The Singapore Media POP is provided with full redundancy by using Webex Calling data centers in Japan that provide full redundancy for the Singapore Media POP. It is common for media latency to increase during failovers, although this is rare and only occurs for a short period of time.
