Accessibility standards and improvements
Webex Meetings provides voluntary accessibility templates for meetings, webinars, and events.
Visit the Webex Meetings Suite accessibility improvements page to learn more about the improvements we’re making.
Low vision support
There are limited accessibility features available for Webex desktop and web apps that are tailored for people with low vision.
-
Windows OS supports high contrast schemes.
-
Zoom functionality is supported by the application.
Screen reader support
Tests are conducted to ensure that Webex Meetings are compatible with the latest version of JAWS by Freedom Scientific.
-
Meetings works with screen readers using all keyboard shortcuts.
-
A screen reader cannot read content from a shared presentation, a shared application, or a shared desktop.
Screen readers can announce notifications based on your preferences. Find out how to manage the notifications your screen reader announces in Manage the notifications your screen reader announces.
Keyboard shortcuts
You can navigate the meeting window using Tab or Shift + Tab on Windows and MacOS. If you want to navigate faster, you can use these shortcuts:
