In addition to Webex App, Meetings, Webinars, and Jabber, people insights profiles are now available to use in each of these platforms.

It should be noted that people insights profiles are only available in English at present for hosts and users joining meetings or webinars on US-based cluster sites when they are using the Meetings and Webinars webinar mode. When people from organizations that are not based in the US join a site that shows profiles of people insights, they will be able to view the public profiles of people who are present at meetings or events on the site that shows profiles of people insights.

Where does the data come from?

People insight profiles only show information that is publicly available, like the type of information you would normally find when doing a search for a person’s name in a search engine. Users in the same company who have Directory Connector enabled will also be able to view internal company directory information within their people insights profiles. Users outside the company are not able to see any of the information contained in this internal directory.

Unlike other databases with log-ins or paywalls, the People Insights database does not consult the content hidden behind logins or paywalls. As a result, you will not find any content from sites such as Facebook or LinkedIn on your people insights profile, even if those links appear on your profile itself.
