What are the calendar and contacts integration settings used by Zoom users?

How to operate on the settings of calendar and contact integration?

Remember,
- In case you wish to compel the users in using the default service and restrict them from altering the related configuration, then tap on the icon with a lock sign. Those users then will find a notification for setting the calendar or contact integration.
- This notification can only be seen for the client version of 5.2.2 or higher. The prior clients can’t prompt the users.

Select the default contact and calendar services for the users.
Choose default selected contacts/ calendar service for zoom users. At the time zoom, users would set the contact and calendar integration, the default service would get chosen. There are the below settings, which you can configure.
- Office 365. Make the authorization with Microsoft EWS API. Choose what to authorize with the EWS URL and respectively input the EWS URL. This helps in accepting the zoom access permission. However, you are not capable of controlling for the permissions.

- Input the EWS URL. Per exchange requirement. With zoom, it will permit complete mailbox access.
- Enabling the feature called use MAPI to integrate with the Zoom desktop client. This one is valid for Windows users only.
Remember, that the enabling feature for integration by applying MAPI and then locking the settings for users makes the utilization of calendar integration possible.
The contacts and calendar permission feature.
- Contacts.
- Read. It permits the users in viewing the contacts with zoom from the desktop client itself.
- Write. It permits the users in generating the contacts and using the call history for the desktop client only.
- Calendar.
- Read. It permits the users in viewing the calendar events with zoom from the desktop client itself.
- Write. It permits the users in deleting as well as edit events by using the call history for the desktop client

How to alter the advanced settings?
Any time you can alter the below options from the settings with the aim of contacts and calendar integration.

- Ask the users when they sign in the first time. Here zoom will only guide the users of Microsoft Office 365 if they sign in as a fresher or in other words, sign in for the first time. In case the users fail to set up the integration on time, then they can set up a calendar as well as contact integration manually.
- Ask users every time they sign in until they integrate the calendars. Here, every time the zoom will prompt you, (the user of Microsoft office 365) when they sign in and if they don’t have the set up for calendar and contact integration.

Only users in specific domains integrate the calendar and contacts services.
It solely permits the users from the specified domains so, to integrate calendar and contacts services.
Remember,
- There won’t be any effective outcome on the present users who are a part of the allowed domain.
- The already present users can set up the contacts and calendar integration as well as is not a part of the permitted domain and will get a prompt for configuring the integration.
- The fresh users will only be permitted for contact and calendar integration with the condition of belonging to an existing allowed domain.
- If multiple domain names are added then you should add a comma (,) after each domain name.
