What in the Mean of Approvals in Microsoft Teams
By using Microsoft Teams, you are able to streamline all your requests and processes, as well as work together more effectively with your teammates or partners as a result of its approval process. Using this feature, you’ll be able to set up new approvals, see those that have been sent your way, and review the ones you’ve already approved.
Approvals hub
All of your approvals, including the ones that have already been completed, can be found here so you can take a peek at those that you’ve sent or received. Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 are all part of Microsoft Dynamics 365, so approvals appear across all of those systems as well.
Approvals from chat
From within a Teams conversation, you will be able to send an approval message. The approvals card will appear in your chat after you have set it up from the compose box. Approvers can only be added to the conversation if they are in the conversation at the time.
Approvals card
In this card, you are able to see the status of the approval in real-time. See who has already responded, as well as who still needs a bit of more time before they can respond.
Basic approval
If you start from the hub or a chat, you will typically use a basic approval to get your application started. In the Common Data Service, all approvals are not only stored for future reference, but also for the benefit of those on the approval and tenants administrators.
Workflow approval
Power Automate allows you to create approvals, and once they have been created, the approval will appear directly in your app’s list of approvals. Basically, this is a workflow approval, whereby a new flow can be created and a trigger selected, such as an event driven by a system or a LOB connector from one of the 350+ connectors that are available, or any event that you like to trigger this new flow.
Notifications
On the Notifications page within Teams, you can choose how you want to receive notifications based on your preferences.
Endless options
You can use Approvals within Teams to get all of the work done whether you are filing a tax return, giving a discount to a customer, or requesting time off.
