In Microsoft Teams, Shifts is an application that allows you to create, update, and manage team schedules in order to streamline your communication.
Schedules –
The Shifts feature in Microsoft Teams makes it easy to create, manage, edit, and edit a schedule. Shifts allows you to display shifts at the top of the schedule, team members at the left of the calendar, and assigned shifts at the bottom of the schedule.
Groups –
In order to keep your groups organized, you can give each group a name, such as a job type or location.
Shifts –
Adding a shift can be done in a number of ways. Make a brand new one or copy one that you already have.
Open shifts –
An open shift row is present on each schedule. Your schedule should include open shifts that can be requested by anyone at any time.
Time Clock –
By using the Time Clock mobile app, your team is able to clock in and out of their shifts from anywhere at any time.
Requests –
Time off requests, shift swap requests, and offers for time off should be reviewed.
Tags –
If you are on a shift and want to communicate quickly with someone else on that shift, you can use shift-based tags.
Share –
As soon as you have completed the schedule, make sure you share it with your team so that everyone is aware of it as soon as it is ready.

How do teams get Shifts?
In Teams, tap Shifts in the navigation bar. If you don’t see the Shifts app when you open Teams, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to access it.
How do you manage Shifts in MS teams?
Microsoft Teams admin center can be found in the left navigation under Teams apps > Manage apps on the left side of the screen. Find the Shifts app on the list of apps, select it, and then select Change the status toggle to Block or Allow when it appears in the list of apps

In addition to Shifts, there is one more exceptionally interesting app for your organization that you can add to Microsoft Teams that you might want to check out. Work schedules can be created by users, for example, team members, using Shifts. This is a great app, but it’s only available to users who have licensed versions of Microsoft Teams (i.e. Enterprise) that are able to access the application
