What is the ‘URL Protocol’ Setting in Site Admin in webex?
In the Site Admin, there is an option called ‘URL Protocol’. What does this mean?
When I use the Site Admin tool, I see a setting called “Enable URL protocol”. What does that mean?
This setting can be found in the site admin under ‘Enable URL protocol’ as shown below:
There is an option available in site admin that allows the user to join meetings on the site once they have joined one previously via TFS (Temporary Folder Solution) and this option is enabled in the settings for the user. Once this is done, the user will be able to join meetings on this site without having to download and run the TFS client again.
Browser Notes:
-
It has been observed that it is still possible to join a meeting using the URL protocol if a user uses Firefox, Chrome, or Edge as well as TFS after the user has run TFS during the upgrade, and it is advisable to do that after the user has run TFS during the upgrade.
