Restart the Shared Webex Session
In the event that you are experiencing technical difficulties, you can restart your Webex Share by logging into the Cisco Control Hub. Please visit the article titled “Restart Your Cisco Webex Share” for more information.
Standby Mode
When Webex Share is not being used, you have the option of configuring it to turn off your HDMI display. This helps you save money on electricity costs while also extending the life of your display. To fine tune this function, you can utilize the Standby Control setting in conjunction with the Standby Delay and the Wakeup settings. Firmware that has expired as of August 13, 2019
You are now able to track devices that have firmware that has become obsolete. Go to the Devices menu when you’re logged in as a customer at https://admin.webex.com/. Choose Issues from the drop-down list that’s located above the search box, and then choose Software is out of date from the list of search phrases that appear below it.

Support for DHCP-based NTP hosts will be available as of July 9, 2019.
As of right now, the primary NTP service that Webex Share offers is support for a DHCP-based NTP host that is specified by the user. The following list of secondary NTP services will be utilized by the device in the event that a DHCP NTP service is not configured:

Share Your Customized Brand Imagery on Webex on April 24th, 2019
Webex Share now has support for individualized brand images that can be configured worldwide using Control Hub by administrators.
At this time, Webex Share does not offer brand customization on individual devices.
The 9th of April, Support for Multiple Languages on Webex Share
Webex Share now also provides support for Chinese (China), Chinese (Taiwan), Japanese, Korean, and Russian. These languages were previously supported.
Whiteboard viewing support will be available on March 25, 2019.
When users join meetings associated with their Webex app, they now have the ability to observe whiteboard activities on the connected display instead of the app’s screen.

The 11th of December, 2018, Support for Multiple Languages on Webex Share
In addition to English, Webex Share is now available in the following languages: Dutch, English (UK), French (Canada), French (France), German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Spanish (LATAM), Spanish (Spain), and Swedish.
During the initial configuration of the device, you can change the language that you like to use by going to the web page for the device. Both the web page for the device and the user interface for Webex Share are updated to reflect any changes made to the language.
