Online meeting apps other than Zoom
In addition to Zoom, there are various apps for online meetings.
We introduce 6 main online meeting apps.
Google Hangouts can make group calls for up to 10 people.
You can choose the person you want to call from your Gmail contacts, so it’s a good idea to use it easily.
You can also share files by using Google Drive.
Skype allows group calls for up to 10 people.
You can exchange messages and files in chat while interacting.
There is also a screen sharing function to show your screen to the other party.
In chat meetings, you can even make video calls with the classic Chatwork.
However, it will be a one-on-one call.
Screen sharing is also possible, and you can hold meetings while exchanging files using the normal chat function.
You do not need to create an account to use it.
You can make a video call by entering an arbitrary character string in the place where “Let’s make a meeting room” and distribute the issued URL to the participants.
There seems to be no limit to the number of participating members, but as the number of participants increases, it becomes easier for the internet line to be disconnected.
You can also share your wideboard with participants.
However, you can only use it with Google Chrome, Firefox or Opera.
