Wholesale Route to Market Solution Guide in webex
Detailed in this document is a description of Webex’s offer for the Wholesale Route to Market (RTM) solution. It is aimed at the partners that are responsible for the application of this solution within the provider organisations.
We believe that the Wholesale Route-to-Market (RTM) solution is a strategic channel solution that uses the market power of Service Providers around the world to extend the reach of Webex to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). In addition, Cisco’s patented technology and deep expertise in collaboration are behind the new collaboration tool. As a result, a new operational model, a new commercial model and a new partner program have been developed.
With the Wholesale platform, partners can create differentiated, cobranded offers in the market with their own products within our platform up to 5 times faster than they can with the Standard platform. By developing APIs into the Partners Portal and operating the platform, we make high-volume, high-tempo transactions possible.
As part of this new wholesale strategy, BroadWorks users who are currently using Webex will have easy access to the Webex cloud and will be able to migrate there with a predictable, per-user, per-month pricing model and monthly billing. In a service provider’s business, a single commercial relationship can be used to connect all their end customers to the Service Provider, greatly simplifying the work flow between them.
A wholesale partner program should address the business and technical needs of both the Service Provider and the Wholesale Partner. Onboarding at Cisco is combined into two parallel workstreams: Technical Onboarding, as well as Go-to-Market, as part of its managed onboarding program. In addition to the dedicated team of Cisco experts available to assist with every aspect of the onboarding process, Cisco also offers a comprehensive set of online training courses, a variety of migration and marketing toolskits, and an onboarding program that is designed specifically for Cisco customers. With the Cisco onboarding process, customers are guaranteed to exceed expectations.
It includes five packages: the Common Area Calling offer, the Webex Voice Package, the Webex Calling offer, the Webex Suite, and the Webex Meetings offer. That’s it for the wholesale offer.
