Windows screenshots In Zoom App, 5 methods and their differences

Screenshots are an indispensable feature when you are a participant in a Zoom meeting and want to take a picture, or when you want to make a manual by copying what is displayed on the computer screen.
However, the method of this screenshot does not seem to be well known.

The function of copying the screen of a computer is called a screenshot.

Sometimes it’s called a print screen.

When taking a print screen, I often use the keys labeled “Print Screen” or “Prt Scr” or the Windows key.

This time, I will introduce 5 ways to take a print screen with Windows and the difference between them.

Print Screen (PrtScr) key

Press the Print Screen (PrtScr) key to copy the entire screen to the clipboard.

Then paste it into an app where you can paste the image.

You can paste it with Paint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Alt + Print Screen (PrtScr) key

Hold down the Alt key and press the Print Screen (PrtScr) key.

Only the focused window will be copied to the clipboard.

Then paste it into an app where you can paste the image.

Windows key + Print Screen (PrtScr) key

Hold down the Windows key and press the Print Screen (PrtScr) key.

The entire screen is copied and output as an image file at the same time.

The location where the image files are saved is the Screenshots folder under the Pictures folder .

Windows key + Alt + Print Screen (PrtScr) key

* This function is valid only on Windows 10.

Hold down the Alt and Windows keys and press the Print Screen (PrtScr) key.

Only the in-focus window will be copied and output as an image file at the same time.

Be careful here! !!

The location where the image file is saved is different from the above, it is the “Capture” folder under the “Video” folder .

C: \ Users \ [username] \ Videos \ Captures

Shift + Windows key + S

* This function is valid only on Windows 10.

Hold down the Shift and Windows keys and press the S key.

The entire screen becomes whitish, so select the area you want to copy with the mouse.

When you release the mouse button, the selection is copied to the clipboard.

Paste it in an app where you can paste the image.
