Yealink assisted provisioning guide in zoom App
Overview
Please refer to the sections below for provisioning a supported Yealink phone if you are experiencing issues or your phone does not support zero touch.
Note: Please read the provisioning quick start guide before following this article.
Prerequisites
- Yealink devices are supported
- On the Zoom website with the addition of Yealink devices
- Which have been reset to factory defaults and have been installed with the latest supported firmware
Obtaining the phone’s IP address
T4 series without touchscreen
- Menu will appear.
- Select Status using the directional pad.
- Write down the IPv4 address.
T4 series with a touchscreen
- You will be able to access the menu from the home screen.
- In the case of a touchscreen on the T4 series: Tap Status.
- The IPv4 address will appear on the screen.
T5 series with a touchscreen
- The home screen can be accessed by swiping left.
- Go to Settings.
- Click General.
- Write down your IPv4 address.
Accessing the phone’s web interface
- Connect your phone to the same network as your computer and open a web browser.
- Type in the IP address of the phone.
- Sign in as the administrator by logging into the web interface of the phone.
Note: Admin and admin are the default login credentials for accessing the web interface. You need to contact the vendor of the phone if you don’t know your username or password. You can view the administrative password in the Zoom web portal if you have set the admin password globally.
Configuring the provisioning server
Note: A slightly different web interface may be available on older Yealink devices with the green header bar.
- To enable auto-provisioning, navigate to Settings > Auto Provisioning.
- Then enter the URL for assisted provisioning in the field that appears.
- In the User Name and Password fields, delete any existing information.
- The configuration will be saved when you click Confirm, then you will need to click Auto Provision Now for setting up your phone. After several reboots, your phone will be set up.
Note: Before you begin provisioning, make sure that your device is not communicating with another provisioning server.
