Zoom Events Family Event Attendee Code of Conduct
Zoom is committed to protecting the privacy and safety of you and your family when you use Zoom Events. When attending an event in our Family category, and in particular those aimed at families with young children, we ask you to be aware of these Zoom Events Family Event Attendee Codes of Conduct, in order to ensure your safety and the safety of your family.
-
A family-oriented event is one that parents or guardians can attend together with their children if they wish to do so. It is advisable that if you register for an event which involves activities for children under 16 years of age, you should accompany your child to the event or designate an adult to accompany your child to the event.
-
During your participation in the event, if you decide to have video enabled, either use a virtual background or ensure that the surrounding area is free from any images which might be inappropriate for children or insensitive to children.
-
Do not use foul, harassing, or discriminatory language or engage in such behaviors when attending a Zoom Event or when participating in one. We invite you to review our Acceptable Use Guidelines for more information on the content and behavior that is prohibited.
-
You can report any behavior that you believe violates the Zoom Events Host Terms of Use or Acceptable Use Guidelines as well as any other concerns you have regarding your child on the Zoom Events platform if the host or another attendee uses prohibited language or engages in conduct that violates these guidelines.
-
The Zoom Events platform may be used by anyone for any purpose, but we encourage you to report any illegal activity that you witness on the platform to your local law enforcement authorities in addition to reporting the activity to Zoom.
