Zoom Phone Certified Hardware
Zoom Phone supports the following phone devices. Click on a feature to see how it works. Check out our overview of the provisioning process before adding devices to Zoom Phone.
You can find more information about Zoom Certified devices on the Zoom Certified page. Our list of supported Zoom Phone Appliances can be found here.
Notes:
- The release date for columns that support the hardware will be stated in October 2021.
- Desk phones and desktop computers with Zoom Phone need TLSv1.2.
- You will need the latest version of firmware listed below in order for your device to operate properly. Simply click the link in the table below to download the firmware.
- For information on firewall rules for zero touch provisioning, please refer to the Poly or Yealink websites.
Encryption
Communication between Zoom Phone clients and servers over SIP is encrypted using TLS v1.2 with AES-256 bit. SRTP is utilized for secure phone call transport and is used to encrypt ZOOM Phone phone network media with AES-128 or AES-256 bit encryption for devices.
Important:
The devices are configured by default to use AES-128 bit encryption. AES-256 bit encryption on devices must be upgraded via the web portal by administrators. For more information on how to upgrade the encryption, click here.

AudioCodes
Note:
- There are a few models that aren’t supported due to their revision number. In order to find out more information, please visit the AudioCodes website.
- In the case of Zoom Phone’s 450HD, a generic SIP version is all it supports. To convert your Skype for Business (SfB) firmware to generic SIP, you will need to contact AudioCodes support.

Notes:
- There is no support from Zoom Phone for other multi-platform (MPP) phones other than Cisco. After the model number, they are indicated with either 3PCC, 3PC, or 3PW.
- In order to ensure that Cisco’s devices are compatible with the required firmware and services for MPP, you should carefully review Cisco’s documentation on compatible models and their conversion from Enterprise to MPP.

Poly
Notes:
- The latest supported firmware version will be automatically downloaded to all provisioned Poly devices. In order to prevent Poly devices from automatically updating their firmware, set up firmware update rules.
- In order to use Zoom, you will need at least version 4.0.0 of the Polycom UCS firmware on your device. When upgrading from the web interface, registering, or provisioning the phone, the Polycom SIP software 3.x and earlier will not work with Zoom. Please note, OBi Analog Telephone Adapters (ATA) are not subject to this restriction.
- OBi phones from Polycom cannot be used with this adapter. Zoom Phone does not support the VVX D230 due to its OBi firmware.

Yealink
Note:
- The latest supported firmware version will automatically be updated on all Yealink devices. To prevent automatic firmware updates, configure firmware update rules.
- ZTP is only allowed once for the following end-of-life (EOL) models after the June 14, 2020 firmware upgrade: T29G, T41P, T42G, T46G, T48G, W56P.
- It should be noted that re-provisioning a model that is no longer supported by the manufacturer will require you to enter the last 5 digits of the serial number of the device. There is also a provisioning assisted feature that can help you.

Note (A):
- This is an end-of-sale model from Poly. In the near future, Zoom will stop supporting these models.
- In the present day, end-of-sale Poly models with a manufacture date older than stated on the packaging will not comply with Zoom’s security requirements and will not work with Zoom Phone. It is usually possible to identify the manufacturing date by looking at a sticker that is usually located on the bottom of the phone.
Note (B):
SIP video is not supported by these models.

AudioCodes
Notes:
- To learn how to set up an AudioCodes MP series gateway, see the provisioning guide.
- There are some models that are not supported based on their revision number. In order to find out more, please refer to the AudioCodes website.
- SRTP reduces the number of available channels for these models when enabled. SRTP is currently available on the following channels:
- MP-124 – 17 channels from 24
- MP-118 – 6 channels from 8
- MP-114 – 3 channels from 4
- (MP-1288 and MP-112 don’t have a reduction in available channels)

Note:
- ATAs (analog telephone adaptors) do not provide Zoom with any guarantees of performance.
- For Polycom VVX phones that are OBi editions, Zoom does not support them. OBi firmware is the only exception to this rule, as the VVX D230 is still supported by Zoom Phone even though it has OBi firmware.
