You can use Zoom’s recording function to save video data to your computer.
When the host clicks ” Record ” on the Zoom screen, if you have a paid account, you have two options:
- Record on this computer
- Record in the cloud
If you have a free account, it will be recorded on your computer as it is.
If you recorded on your computer, when you finish the meeting, the video data will start to be generated on your computer.
When the video data generation is completed normally, the following files will be created.
Among them, zoom_0.mp4 is the video data.
If you repeat the start and end of recording in one meeting, it will be divided into a number of video data such as zoom_1.mp4 zoom_2.mp4 ….
However, if you hold the next meeting before the data generation is finished, record there, and then finish the meeting, the next video data generation will fail because the previous data generation is not finished.
At this time, the following files will remain in the folder where the video data should have been created.
After the previous video generation is finished, double-click ” double_click_to_convert_01.zoom ” in this folder.
Then double_click_to_convert_01.zoom, double_click_to_convert_02.zoom, double_click_to_convert_03.zoom will disappear and zoom_0.mp4 will be generated.
The time it takes to generate data varies greatly depending on the performance of your computer.
Depending on the performance of your computer, it may take an hour or more to generate data for an hour’s meeting.
In some cases, you may not be able to leave your computer on for such a long time.
If you shot down your computer while generating data, you can restart data generation by following the same procedure as above.
” Double_click_to_convert_01.zoom “
If you translate this file name into Japanese, it means “double-click for data conversion!”.
