Zoom Rooms controller features
An Apple iPad, an Android tablet or the Crestron Mercury (which has the same features as an Android tablet) can be used to control Zoom Rooms, and Windows 10 tablets can be used to control Zoom Rooms as well. Zoom Room for Touch is the only exception, as its touch screen has limited controls. With Zoom Rooms for Touch, you can use either a controller or no controller, but pairing a controller is recommended for full functionality.
Prerequisites for using Zoom Rooms controller features
Zoom Rooms can be used on the following mobile devices:
- Running iOS version 8.0 or later on Apple iPad, iPad Pro, or iPad Mini
- Using an Android tablet running version 4.0 or higher
- You are recommended to use a device with at least a 7 inch screen when using Zoom
- Software on a Windows tablet that is running version 10.0.14393 or a higher version
- For Crestron MercuryTM
- And Polycom TrioTM
- Click here for Zoom Rooms System Requirements for more information
How to download the Zoom Rooms controller application
From Zoom’s download page, you can download the Zoom Rooms controller app.
The Crestron Mercury or Polycom Trio embedded Android controllers need no download.
Features
Each type of controller has its own set of features, as shown in the following table.
Note:
Zoom Rooms Scheduling Display for iPad and Android controllers comes with Zoom Rooms software. Scheduling Display is not supported by Zoom Rooms’ Windows controller software.
