Zoom Rooms does not work with Chrome OS

In order for Zoom Rooms to continue running on Chrome OS at the end of December 2020, all Zoom Rooms that have been running on Chrome OS for the past year must switch to a supported operating system (Windows, macOS, or Zoom Rooms Appliance). Zoom Rooms has partnered with a number of verified platforms that you can find out more about.

Recommended migration options

  1. You will need to deploy an appliance for Zoom Rooms

  2. Rather than using Chrome OS computers, you should use Windows IoT PCs or Macs to run Zoom Rooms instead.

  3. Using Zoom Rooms Hardware as a Service program, you are able to rent hardware for an affordable monthly cost
