Webex App | Unmute someone directly in moderated unmute mode
During a meeting, you can control who is allowed to speak. Guests who cannot unmute themselves, such as young students, can be unmuted directly by you as a host or cohost. When the host or cohost unmutes you directly as an attendee, you’ll be notified.
It is important for meeting participants to be aware that the host or cohost can unmute people directly without having to ask them to do so and amicably, in meetings in moderated unmute mode, there is an indication at the top of the meeting window notifying everyone that this is possible.
Before you begin
Enhanced meetings associated with an area may include this feature, if your administrator has enabled moderated unmute mode for scheduled Webex meetings, Personal Room meetings, and meetings associated with a space.

Attendees: In the meeting, you will receive a notification that lets you know that the host or cohost has unmuted you directly. If you speak, every member of the meeting will be able to hear you.
