Convert an ARF recording to MP4 format in webex
Using the Webex Recording Converter, you can convert an Advanced Recording Format (ARF) recording of a Webex Meetings, Webex Events, or Webex Training session so that it can be played on a device other than a computer. This will allow you to play the recording of the session on a device that supports the MPEG-4 format (MP4).
Check to see if the Webex Recording Converter was successfully installed on your machine.
Only Windows users should proceed with the actions that follow. It is not possible to convert ARF files to any other format using MacOS.
Convert recordings to MP4
1. Save a copy of the recording to your local computer by downloading the file.
2 After opening the Webex Recording Converter, navigate to the “File” menu and select “Convert To MP4” Then, find the file that you want to convert and click “Open.”
If the option to convert to MP4 is grayed out, this is because you are attempting to convert a recording of a streaming service. You can try again after you’ve downloaded the file to your computer.
3 In the box labeled Save as:, indicate where you want to save the file.
4 In the Content choices menu, choose one of the following options:
