Use picture-in-picture to multitask during a meeting in webex
If you are opening another app on your iPhone or iPad, such as checking your e-mail or taking notes, a floating window of Webex Meetings should always show up on the screen. The background picture-in-picture feature shows a floating window of what is going on in your meeting over your home screen and other apps to ensure that you don’t miss out on anything that is going on.

It is possible for you to use picture-in-picture for background purposes anywhere, except when you are sharing content with others.
- When you are in the middle of a meeting, you can exit the Meetings app by swiping up from the bottom.
It is necessary to open the Meetings app and then tap Background picture-in-picture if you are using iOS 13 or 14.
- If you want to use an app, you will need to open it first.
Floating windows can be moved around the screen by dragging them to another location if they are covering an app that you’re using on your screen. You can increase or decrease the size of the window by double tapping it.
- In order to return to the meeting, you will need to tap the floating window.
As soon as you return to the meeting, you will be able to select Background picture-in-picture in the floating window on iOS 13 and 14.
