Register for a meeting or webinar in webex

Using Webex Meetings and Webex Webinars registration, the event host can gather information about the participants, restrict access, and secure the information about the meeting and event.

Why should you register for a meeting or webinar?

It is not necessary to register for every webinar or meeting. There may be a registration link included in an email invitation if your meeting or webinar does.

When registering, it is recommended that you use the browser on your computer or your mobile device. In the current version of the Meetings mobile app, you are unable to register.

In the event that your registration has been approved by the host, you will receive an email confirming your registration. Upon the start of the meeting or webinar, you will be able to join in on the conversation. You can join the meeting or webinar immediately if the host has chosen to automatically approve all registration requests, and he or she is already in the middle of the meeting or webinar.

1. Click on the Register link in the email invitation that you received.
2. To register for the webinar, click the Register button in the registration form. After completing the registration form, you will be able to register again by clicking Register again.
3. On the registration page, you will be able to see your registration status.

• An approval message will be displayed on the registration screen if your registration has been approved, and you will also receive an email if your registration has been approved. When the time comes for you to take part in the webinar, click the Join webinar button in the email and then click OK.

• You are able to join the webinar by clicking the Join webinar button once your registration has been approved and the webinar has begun.

• Occasionally, your registration may not be approved immediately. In this case, it will be sent to the webinar host for approval, and your status will show as pending. If your registration has been approved or denied by the host, you will receive an email informing you of the decision.
