Resetting to factory default (Yealink) in zoom

It is possible to download the custom firmware file during the assisted provisioning process from the certified devices list or Zoom web portal.

How to obtain the phone’s IP address
There is no touchscreen on the T4 series
-
To access the menu, press the Menu button on your keyboard.

In order to select Status, use the directional pad on your phone.
-
The IPv4 address should be noted down.
T4 series with a touchscreen

You can access the menu by tapping the menu button on the home screen.
-
You can check your status by tapping the Status button.
-
The IPv4 address should be noted down.
T5 series with a touchscreen

You can do this by swiping left from the home screen.

Click on the Settings button.

Select General from the menu.

The IPv4 address should be noted down.
How to access the phone’s web interface

Using a computer that’s connected to the same network as your phone, open a web browser on the computer.

From the previous section, you need to enter the IP address of the phone.

As an administrator, you need to log into the web interface of the phone.
Note: The default admin username and password is admin / admin. The vendor of the phone should be contacted if you do not know your username or password. A password can be viewed on Zoom’s web portal if it has been set globally as the admin password.
How to reset to factory default using the web interface (recommended)

Click on Settings from the left-side navigation menu and then click Upgrade from the right-side navigation menu.

To reset your device to factory settings, click the Reset button.

If you would like to confirm, click OK.
How to reset to factory default using the phone’s interface (optional)
It is recommended that you follow this section if you are unable to access the phone’s web interface.
T4 series without touchscreen

To access the menu, press the Menu button on your keyboard.

To select and enter Advanced settings, you will need to use the directional pad on the phone.
Note: There will be a prompt for you to enter the administrator password (the default password is admin). The vendor of the phone can provide you with the password if you are unsure of it. -
Reset Config > Reset to Factory Settings can be selected by using the directional pad on the phone.
T4 series with a touchscreen

You can access the menu by tapping the menu button on the home screen.

Click on the Advanced button.
Note: As soon as you click on the link, you will be asked for your admin password (which is admin). You should contact the vendor of your phone if you don’t know the admin password for the phone. -
In the Reset Config window, select Reset to Factory Settings and then tap Reset.
T5 series with a touchscreen

When you are on the home screen, swipe left.

Click on the Settings button.

To access the Advanced Settings section, scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
Note: There is a need to enter the admin password in order to be able to see the advanced settings (the default password is admin). It is recommended that you -
contact the vendor of the phone if you do not know the admin password.

Reset the configuration by tapping the Reset Config button.

Reset your settings back to factory defaults by tapping the Reset button.
How to install custom firmware using the web interface

Click on Settings on the left-hand side of the page, and then select Upgrade from the list.

By clicking Browse or Choose File, you can find the directory that contains the custom firmware file, and then you can double-click it to select it.
Note: If you are having problems downloading or verifying the custom firmware version, please refer to the supported devices list. -
To begin the process of updating the firmware, click Upload in order to begin. As soon as the custom firmware is installed, the phone will reboot. There will be a delay of 2-3 minutes during the process.
