Add a message to a pull request
In a brief duration of two minutes or less, this instructional guide will elucidate the process of including a Slack message into a pull request.
To enhance the integration of code repository tools with Slack workspaces, it is recommended to establish a direct connection rather than resorting to the manual process of copying and pasting information into a pull request. By establishing this connection, the smooth addition of Slack messages may be achieved. Users may optimize their time by avoiding the need to switch between many applications in order to locate relevant information on code modifications.
Go for it!
To establish a connection between your code repository and Slack, it is necessary to install an application such as Bitbucket Cloud or Github.
To include a message in a pull request, position the cursor over the desired message and choose the ellipsis icon.
Choose the “Add to pull request” option from the menu.
Please indicate the specific repository and pull request to which you would want the message to be added, and then proceed by clicking the Confirm button.
The following is an illustrative instance of how a message may be included to a pull request.
