Solution:

Note: The chat history cannot be recovered if a meeting is accidentally closed because it was not saved or if the chat was not saved.

At the end of each meeting, you will be asked to select the location where the chat file should be saved.

Windows

For Windows:

  • Windows 10: C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents

Mac

For Mac OS X:

  • Webex Meetings: Documents\Date_MeetingName

  • Webex Training: Documents\Date_MeetingName_MeetingNumber

  • Webex Events: Documents\chat.txt

Note: Using Webex Meetings mobile app on a mobile device is not the same as using Webex Meetings desktop app since the chat history cannot be retrieved if the chat is not saved or a meeting is closed accidentally.
