How to create Team with templates in microsoft Teams

With team templates that come with apps and channels relevant to a specific scenario, you can easily build a team to handle that scenario.

  1. Choose Team > Join a team or create one > Create a team.
  2. Depending on what type of scenario you are looking for, you should choose a team template.Embedding channels and apps in each team template enhances the scenario or industry in which the template is aimed.If you are looking to build a team from scratch, then you can select From scratch, or if you are looking to build a team from existing teams or groups in Microsoft 365, select From a group or team.
  3. Choose a privacy level: Private or Public.
  4. The name and description of your team should be included.
  5. You can further customize a team template by editing channel names.
  6. Click on Create.It will only take a few minutes for your team to be created.

As you create new task lists on your site, you can create new task templates. To the right of the template dropdown, select Create a template in the Add Task List modal.
Find and apply a template
  1. You are able to use any of the templates built into the program by clicking Sample Templates, choosing the template you wish to use and then clicking the Create button.
  2. By clicking Recent Templates, selecting the template that you want to reuse, and then clicking Create, you will be able to reuse a template that you have recently used.
