Enabling 3rd Party Audio in zoom App
Overview
When you enable third-party audio, participants will be able to join your meeting using a third-party phone number instead of VoIP or PSTN through Zoom. Third-party audio conferencing does have limitations.
- To access the scheduling option, users must sign out and sign back in to their desktop or mobile application once the option has been enabled or disabled.
- For meetings that are selected, 3rd party audio is used exclusively.
- Recordings do not include audio.
- It is not possible to detect active speakers. Pinning a speaker, spotlighting it, or switching to gallery mode will help.
